I want to discuss new experimental and theoretical results about  some important mammalian systems notably the circadian clock, the cell cycle and the NF-kappaB and Nrf2 signalling systems. I want to discuss current understanding of the dynamics and design principles and raise some key questions about the role of interactions and coupling between such highly dynamical regulatory and signalling systems.
