Abstract

We consider a model which takes into account the heterogeneous response of a tumor submitted to a radiotherapy treatment. It is a bi-scale model : cell/tumor. Each cell behaves as a Markov chain. This allows to infer the random behavior of the tumor which is considered as a collection of independent cells. Our simple model with few parameters permits to determine efficiency of the treatment calculating the right amout of radiation which permits to reduce the tumor size.
