Depression is one of the major concern of the present generation. In this talk a Markov Chain model will be used to portray and investigate this curse. Long term behaviour of the model will be discussed. Different types of treatment strategies will be considered in this presentation and their effectiveness in controlling this disease. This talk will also focus on the usefulness of the drugs available at present in the treatment of this disease.
